I started playing piano at 5 years old and fell in love with classical music not long after. Under the tutelage of Michael Angell, then later with Sister Natalie Pepin (Professor Emeritus at the prestigious Faculté de Musique de l’Université de Montréal), I successfully completed my Associateship in piano performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and graduated with a degree in Music Theory.

Success in various music competitions led me to professional engagements and a chance to perform as a soloist with both professional orchestras in my native Saskatchewan.

Throughout my studies I accrued over 20 years of experience teaching both piano and music theory. Family life brought me to Guelph in 2017 and back to my calling as a musician and educator.
