-CLASSICAL PIANO INSTRUCTION-
I offer classical piano lessons and music theory from my home in downtown Guelph. Although I am flexible in my methods I generally follow the Royal Conservatory of Music Syllabus. Whether or not students wish to go through with exams or perform in music festivals is entirely up to them, although both are generally encouraged. Above all, I aim to instill a love of classical music in students, regardless of age or ability. Students who wish to eventually move on to learn jazz and pop are well served to develop a foundation in classical piano technique.

- ABOUT -
I started playing piano at 5 years old and I fell in love with classical music not long after. Under the tutelage of Michael Angell then later with Sister Nathalie Pepin (Professor Emeritus at the prestigious Faculté de Musique de l’Université de Montréal) I successfully completed my Associateship in piano performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and graduated with a degree in Music Theory. Success in various music competitions led me to professional engagements and a chance to perform as a soloist with both professional orchestras in my native Saskatchewan.
Throughout my studies I accrued over 15 years of experience teaching both piano and music theory. Family life has brought me to Guelph and back to my calling as a musician and educator.
